Set in the picturesque grounds of the former Berwick Manor, the Manor Hotel & Restaurant offers the perfect venue for your wedding reception and civil ceremony. We are located in the countryside by Rainham, Essex ideally situated for neighboring towns such as Upminster, Hornchurch and Romford and just a short drive from the M25 Dartford crossing via the A13.

The Manor's function suites offer you versatility and style for a reception to remember
Our luxuriously appointed function suite accommodates up to 80 guests in comfort. With its own entrance, bar and dance floor it is totally separate from the rest of the hotel. A further suite is also available for smaller groups, private dining or for use as a reception area to the main room. The suites may be hired individually or as a package and we will be pleased to advise you on the most suitable for your wedding. If you wish The Manor can also provide a comprehensive range of wedding services to make the day run more smoothly.

Picturesque gardens, spacious terrace and beautifully decorated marquee
The Manor's gardens are ideally suited to an outdoor wedding reception. With its spacious terrace, lawns, pathways and gazebo it provides the perfect setting, and many more photo opportunities. To further extend the space for wedding celebrations a beautifully decorated marquee is also available for hire. The Manor is the only hotel in havering with a license to hold civil ceremonies both inside and outside. These options give you a unique chance to plan a wedding that's a little different, but ultimately memorable.

Should guests wish to stay overnight, the hotel provides first class accommodation and service. As part of the wedding package The Manor is pleased to offer the bride and groom complimentary use of the bridal suite from 2.00pm on the wedding day.

Our experienced chefs have created menus to make a lasting impression. Guests will approve of your excellent choices and agree how nice it is to enjoy good food at a wedding!
