This
refreshingly stimulating and
dynamic young jazz & blues
band is not to be missed.
Led by the recent UK Award
Winner for Best Reed Player,
Jeremy Huggett, Band of Gold
is the youngest professional
jazz & blues band in the UK.

Having
been formed in 1998, the band
has worked extensively throughout
the UK and abroad, has recorded
three CDs and appeared live on
BBC radio, as well as at all
the major jazz festivals. In
May 2000, the band launched BBC
Music Live on BBC national television
and has just been booked to appear
at the prestigious Cork Jazz
Festival in October 2001.

With
the emphasis on entertainment,

approach to their music, presentation
and appearance.
Working
mainly as a four-piece, the band
is also available as a duo (saxes & keyboards)
and a trio (saxes, keyboards & bass).
If you want a larger band, Band
of Gold has access to a pool

trombonists and trumpeters. There
is also a female vocalist available
to add that final touch of glamour
to your special occasion.
