The King Charles Hotel has over 20 years experience in the planning, organization and running of wedding receptions. Both staff and management will be delighted to be part of your day, giving you help and advice at every aspect.

With two rooms licensed for the solemnization of weddings, we can offer you a small informal service in our Trafalgar Room or a larger more grand affair in our Cavalier Suite. The maximum number of guests depends on your chosen room - we can hold up to 200 guests in our Cavalier Suite and 50 guests in our Trafalgar Room.

The ceremony is conducted and organized by a registrar from Medway Register Office but we make the initial booking or enquiry on your behalf.

Civil ceremonies can be very simple and pleasant but there are many 'extra' things you can add to make it a truly memorable and personal day. Many people find having the wedding ceremony, reception and accommodation in the same building a very relaxing and enjoyable experience - also cutting down on travel costs/time and minimizing weather worries.
