This is my second season of wedding, engagement and civil partnership photography. The skills acquired in 15 years of press and public relations work have come in very useful and I'm learning new things all the time. My aim is to give you a unique record of the emotions and events of the whole day, everything from the preparations and the ceremony, through to the reception and dancing. I have a relaxed style of shooting and usually manage to get the shots you want without intruding too much into your day.

I take a lot of photos during a day, narrowing it down to four or six hundred edited images from an average wedding. Some of these will be near duplicates but the subtleties of expression and composition can make all the difference when making a final selection. Online proofing is provided as standard, so family and friends can see images and order prints as soon as they are ready.

I realise this is one of the most important days in people's lives and I do everything I can to make sure my part is well organised. I check venues, locations and work out traveling times so I'm where I'm supposed to be at the right time. I'll make sure I know the important people on your guest list and what group shots you want. I use some of the best equipment available and always make sure I have backups in case of disasters. Sorting all this out well in advance means I can concentrate on getting great pictures on the day.
