We believe that there are many other directories that will either just list your companies details in a text link, or provide contact details and a small paragraph of text to explain the service you provide. (Really not enough to represent your company in the professional manner you would like!) By comparison, our most popular package B entry gives you a professionally designed page with your chosen pictures/text and the option of a reciprocal website link. Please see the examples below.

HOW DO I ADVERTISE ON YOUR SITES? (Top Of Page)
A: Signing up to The County Wedding Group of websites couldn't be easier. Firstly visit our Advertising Packages page and decide which best suits your requirements, (don't forget our great discounts for multiple entries!) Once decided, just visit our online sign-up page and send us your details.

Once we have received your details we will contact you with payment instructions. When payment has been received your entry will be added to ALL THREE of our websites. Your annual subscription period will then begin and you will be advised of this by email.

IF I ADVERTISE IN MORE THAN 1 COUNTY, CAN I HAVE A DISCOUNT? (Top Of Page)
A: Of course you can, we have a pricing structure that offers substantial discounts for advertising in more than one county or service category. Many of our existing customers have reported that a strategy of broadening their subscriptions to adjacent Counties, or taking advertising in all Counties has proved a big success.

WHAT SHOULD I INCLUDE ON MY ENTRY? (Top Of Page)
A: For a Package A entry see example we require you to summarise your business in no more than 45 words. For a Package B entry see example, you get 60 words PLUS a whole additional page of information to promote your business. This page provides more in-depth details, with photos and the layout and content can be specified by you or alternatively taken from your website.

Package B entries also include the option of reciprocal website link where required. (N.B - Package A listings do not include this option) They are also proven to be more effective than our basic package A listings.




Q: HOW DO YOU ADVERTISE & PROMOTE YOUR SITES? (Top Of Page)
A: We optimise ALL PAGES of our websites for the best possible search engine placement and constantly monitor the effectiveness of this, updating and re-engineering pages where required. (We are experts in this field) This process, although time consuming, ensures that we maintain our prominent position on all the major search engines and keeps our visitor counts high.

We regularly advertise the websites in the most popular Bridal Magazines. ("For You & Your Wedding", "Cosmo Bride" to name just a few) An example of our quarter page advert can be seen here.

We also run a banner add campaign with an extensive list of other wedding related sites. (www.wsn-uk.co.uk - For example, this site has our banner visible from all pages)

CAN MY ENTRY INCLUDE A LINK TO MY OWN WEBSITE? (Top Of Page)
A: Yes, as part of a Package B entry, you are entitled to a FREE website link,
see example. However, this must be reciprocated* and our our website link must be in place first on your website before this is setup. (Cut-n-paste HTML code for our banner link can be found at
HTML banner code. Alternatively a text website link can be added and the code for this can be found on the following page.

* A direct link to your web site is available with our Link on County Index or Home Page subscriptions without requiring a link back from your web site to ours.

IN WHAT POSITION WILL MY ENTRY APPEAR IN YOUR DIRECTORY PAGE?

A:
Companies appear in the order in which a subscriber joins the County Wedding Group with the earliest clients at the top. Package B entries appear before package A subscriptions and our more expensive packages appear before package B. We believe this is fair policy to all as it provides added value for higher priced packages and rewards our longer standing clients for their loyalty as they benefit from a higher position on their chosen page.

Guaranteed Placements on a page are available at a premium rate, or to a first subscriber to a particular package (See Below) and are proving extremely popular and effective marketing tools. (N.B. - So much so that a waiting list is in operation in certain Counties)

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? (Top Of Page)
A: An advert on ALL 3 of our wedding websites starts from a reasonable £45 per year for our basic package. (That's just £15 per site!) Our more popular package B entry is just £15 more at £60 per year, but this includes a whole page of additional information to advertise your business and the option of a reciprocal website link. (See our packages page for further information) We also offer some page sponsorships options for those companies wanting a prominent position on the page they will appear on to ensure they stand out from the crowd!

We are not VAT registered so your payment does not include a VAT element

We believe we offer a good service at a competitive price, which ensures your business finds it's target customers. Please take a look at our package costs for full details on all of our advertising packages available.

PLEASE NOTE: - Our advertising packages are for all three sites only, we do not offer entries on a single site basis. (This is so that enquiries are enhanced)

A: Yes you can and sponsoring a page ensures that your details are ALWAYS FOUND FIRST within your category with your sponsorship clearly displayed see example.

YOU DO NOT HAVE A CATEGORY FOR MY BUSINESS TYPE! (Top Of Page)
A: No problem, in consultation with you we will always add an appropriate new category for your business type to any county index.




Q:
CAN I HAVE A PICTURE LINK TO MY WEBSITE ON YOUR HOME PAGE, SO THAT I HAVE THE MOST PROMINENT ENTRY AVAILABLE? (Top Of Page)
A: Yes, you can have one of a limited number of picture links on the homepage of our site or alternatively consider a similar link on any County index page. Full details and prices for this service can be found near the bottom of the Advertising Packages Page




Q:
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ENTRY? (Top Of Page)
A: We will contact you as soon as we have received your online subscription, with full payment instructions. We accept payments by credit card (using PAYPAL) Cheque or direct bank transfer and will add you to ALL 3 sites just as soon as payment has been received. (
Your annual subscription period will then begin and you will be advised of this by email)

IMPORTANT NOTE: We do not accept credit card payments over the phone and will never contact you by this method for subscription or renewal payments.




Q:
DO YOU NOTIFY ME WHEN MY RENEWAL SUBSCRIPTION IS DUE? (Top Of Page)
A: Yes, we send you an e-mail reminder a short time before your subscription period expires and invite you to renew your subscription by the due date.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Failure to renew on time may result in loss of any positional priority that you have gained or, in the case of guaranteed position, the loss of that position due to us offering it to a business on our waiting list.




Q:
WHY HAS MY ENTRY BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SITES? (Top Of Page)
A: Your entry is removed from the site if the subscription renewal payment is not received by a date advised to you. If you think that an error has occurred and your entry is no longer shown on the site then you should contact us.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Failure to renew your subscription by a due date given, will result in loss of positional priority order gained. (See Q&A on positional order here)

CAN I UPDATE THE TEXT AND/OR IMAGES ON MY ENTRY? (Top Of Page)
A: We are happy to update your entry at any time that your subscription is in force. Just send us any replacement text and or pictures by e-mail to info@countywedding.co.uk and we will attend to your update ASAP.
